Hi there— I’m Whitney. I started Opal because I wanted to create a space where hair and art intertwine. With 9+ years in the hair industry, I utilize an intuitive approach to deliver classic precision cuts, personalized color and hand carved razor techniques. My passion centers around creating low maintenance and modern textures that represent who you are. I am a sculptor not only behind the chair but in my pottery studio as well (you’ll see ceramics sprinkled throught the salon). Outside of the salon I have a deep love for fashion, the arts, my animals, and my husband Greg. My indigenous roots to the Salish Sea make me so grateful to call this sacred place home.
